Unlike many other frame shadow box displays that have the distraction of front-facing exposed frame door hardware hinges and closures, the SwingFrame has concealed hinges and a hidden sliding gravity lock located behind the front metal and wood shadow frames. That means when wall mounted, you can't tell the SwingFrame Designer Shadowbox swings open.
Contemporary Wall Shadow Boxes with a Style Designed to Attract Attention
If you want maximum durability and a modern look, a metal frame shadow box will provide it. This metal shadow box has a frame profile 5/8-inch wide with a classic round-top design. Our SwingFrame Swing-Open Designer Shadowboxes come with a beveled matboard that borders the high-quality 5/8" aluminum custom picture frame molding. The matboard enhances the shadow box frame you select with a complementary mat color to your selected frame finish. A wood box attached to the back of the frame provides depth. Built with solid wood, the exterior of this wood box cabinet has a laminated finish to complement the front frame color selected. The cabinet interior comes standard with a choice of black or white finish. The result is an eye-catching wall shadow box display case sure to attract attention both for the display itself and the contents.
No Assembly Required, Easy to Wall Mount with Cleat
With easy-to-follow wall mounting instructions, SwingFrame Large Shadow Box Cases easily mount to the wall with included Z-Bar Cleat. Secure the wood or metal cleat to the wall with included screws. Lift the shadow box case and place it over the Z-bar. Once positioned and secured to the wall, slide up the gravity lock to swing open the front frame door. You're ready to place, change and rearrange your posters, artwork, advertising promotion, products, collectibles, memorabilia, artifacts, or other objects.
Although the SwingFrme Shadow Box cabinet has a concealed sliding gravity lock, an optional side plunge lock with a key is available if additional security is required for your indoor location.
5 Standard Metal Finishes and Numerous Display Case Sizes
Whatever you would like to showcase in a SwingFrame Large shadow box, chances are the 24 standard frame sizes — from big to extra-large to huge — offered in the collection will work perfectly. Enclosed aluminum-framed shadow boxes start at 16" x 20" and range to 36" x 48" frame size. Classic SwingFrame designer shadow boxes have a matboard border that complements the metal frame selected and a break-resistant acrylic window with either vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape) cabinet orientation. Square shadow box sizes are also listed.
Larger shadow boxes up to 48" x 96" have matboards replaced with painted borders onto the acrylic. The front metal picture frame profile comes in five popular shadowbox frame finishes; black, white, satin silver, light gold, and dark bronze, with your choice of either a white or black interior. We also offer shadow boxes with bright LED strip lighting — it's rated for 50,000 long-lasting hours to get more eyes on any display.

Choose interior cabinet depths of 1 inch and 2 inches for objects and dimensional items that don't need extra cabinet space. Need a custom size shallow shadow box such as 1 1/2 or 2 1/4 inches?
